LEARN TO SKATE AND PLAY ROLLER DERBY
The most popular way to join our club is through our Learn to Skate and Play Roller Derby program. We train twice a week; on Sundays at the Eltham Leisure Centre from 2.30-4pm and on Tuesdays at Viewbank College from 7-8pm. Early levels focus on developing strong skating fundamentals, while later levels introduce gameplay, contact and advanced roller derby strategy. Find out more >
REFEREEING
Refereeing is a fantastic way to stay involved in roller derby, challenge yourself on skates, and play a vital role in every game. Referees train with us to learn to game. Find out more >
DIAMOND FIRETAILS TEAM
Diamond Valley Roller Derby Club started its own competition team in 2023 called the Diamond Firetails. Once you reach our Green level (full contact), you may be invited to join our team! If you are a full contact skater wanting to transfer from another roller derby club, please Contact Us.
| NON-SKATING |
Our roller derby community wouldn't be the same without our non-skating members! No experience is required and you don't ever need to get on skates.
NON-SKATING OFFICIALS (NSOs)
Not keen on skating? NSOs keep games running by timing jams, tracking penalties, recording scores, and supporting the officiating crew.
VOLUNTEERS & COMMUNITY
From photographers and event helpers to enthusiastic supporters, there are plenty of ways to be part of our club without putting on skates.
