Become a Member

To skate, officiate, or participate with DVRDC in 2026, you’ll need to have insurance with Skate Australia for the current year (1 January – 31 December 2026). You will also need to pay a $20 membership fee which goes to DVRDC.

Skate Australia insurance categories:
1. COMPETITIVE (for Green, Orange and Red level skaters) - $147 + $20 DVRDC Membership Fee
    * Participation in derby training, scrimmages & competitions at DVRDC or other clubs.

2. NON-COMPETITIVE (for Red level skaters only) - $115 + $20 DVRDC Membership Fee
    * Participation in derby training with DVRDC ONLY. Choose this only if you don't want to attend any ModCon scrimmages at other clubs or at tournaments.

3. OFF-SKATE - $53 + $20 DVRDC Membership Fee
    * Participation as a non-skating official or committee member only.

4. PARTICIPATION (for Fresh and White level skaters) - $62
    * Choose this if you are a Fresh (new) or White level skater. You don't need to pay a membership fee in the  year that you first sign up.

Insurance categories can be easily upgraded at any time throughout the year, with only the cost difference requiring payment.
